I am a materials and packaging scientist. Polymers, packaging, and how materials actually behave in a recovery stream are the disciplines underneath most packaging and product-material claims — which is the only reason the record beside this is worth reading. You can check every line of it, which is more than a photograph of me would let you do.
The BASF line on that record is where the boundary this company runs on came from. I worked on computational modeling and AI-assisted early-stage research in agricultural biotechnology: AI can organize complex evidence, and it is genuinely good at it — but it should not determine a scientific conclusion, and it should not stand in for accountable human review. Evisentra’s scoring is rules-based and its findings are made by a person, because I have seen closely enough what the alternative produces.
Evisentra exists because evaluating a green claim is not the simple job it sounds like. Whether “recyclable” holds depends on the exact wording, the supplier evidence, the market, the testing boundary, and the limitations that have to be disclosed alongside it. Most of that work is unglamorous document reading, and almost nobody wants to do it before artwork lock — which is precisely when it is worth doing.
What I will put my name to: a finding traceable to submitted evidence, an identified public source, or a clearly stated limitation. What I will not: a conclusion outside my documented competence without an independent specialist behind it, a claim dressed up to sound safer than the evidence supports, or a verdict that moved because of who was paying for it.
How we’re paid
Every paid engagement is scoped and quoted in writing before anything else happens: one all-in fixed price, with your calendar delivery date confirmed in the same document. No payment is requested until you approve that scope, and the scope is itemized so you can see what you are paying for rather than a single number. If a specialist opinion is part of it, their identity, credentials, scope, fee and date are confirmed in writing before any payment for it — and that fee is never tied to what the specialist concludes.
Independence
Every line here is already a commitment elsewhere on this site. Repeating them on the page about the person is the point: they are constraints on him, not features of the product.
- The result never depends on who paid. You are paying for scrutiny, not for the verdict — and the public sample assessment deliberately reaches HOLD, on a claim that does not survive review.
- A specialist’s fee is confirmed in writing before any payment and is never tied to their finding. If no suitable specialist can be confirmed, Evisentra says so and will waitlist, decline or refer rather than take payment and search afterwards.
- Evisentra issues no mark, seal or certificate, and is not a certification body, an assurance provider or a laboratory. There is nothing to sell you that a favourable finding would unlock.
- The rubric, the rule index and the standards register are public and versioned, so a finding can be argued with on the record rather than taken on trust.
Green claims deserve evidence before they reach the market
Claims such as “recyclable,” “compostable,” and “lower carbon” may sound straightforward. Evaluating them is not. Their readiness depends on the exact wording, product and supplier evidence, applicable market rules, testing boundaries, and limitations that must be disclosed.

1. Evisentra prepares the evidence
Evisentra:
- Defines the exact claim, product, markets, and review boundaries.
- Maps the relevant public rules and guidance.
- Organizes supplier declarations, test reports, specifications, and other evidence.
- Applies the published rubric, then the deterministic scoring calculation for the selected method version.

2. Founder-led review, named in your report

For claims that need judgment outside the founder’s documented competence — carbon accounting and offsets, PFAS and restricted-substance chemistry, laboratory compostability interpretation — the report states plainly that an independent specialist opinion is required before final reliance.
When a specialist opinion is arranged — on your request, or because you want reliance on one of those families — the specialist’s identity, credentials, scope, fee, and delivery date are confirmed in writing before any payment for it. If no suitable specialist can be confirmed, Evisentra says so and will waitlist, decline, or refer rather than accept payment and search afterward.
3. Evisentra delivers the final report
Evisentra performs quality control, assembles the traceable final report, and translates the result into evidence gaps, safer wording options, supplier requests, and practical next actions.
When a specialist opinion is included, Evisentra may ask the specialist to clarify or substantiate the finding, but it does not replace a properly supported technical conclusion with a preferred commercial outcome.
AI may assist with evidence organization. It does not determine the reviewer’s finding or independently decide the result.
